...IN BED!

I guess I won't say a ton has gone on, but there are some important updates I don't think I've gotten to.

First: mom is not getting married. She is not moving, and as of this point they're not dating at all. She's got another job here, which she found very quickly and will be working for the same system and everything, so she's very happy with that. She's also pleased to be able to get her 'life back in order' as she's said. Currently, my response has been to look desperately on Craig's List for housing/roomates. pickin's are slim. I am glad that the issues with the cats and my having to clean out the basement all summer have been resolved, or at least delayed.
Retirement: I opened a Roth IRA. What the fuck am I doing???
Work: We're starting a new "team" format. Spoiler: this is bullshit. While it makes my job easier, I don't know what the hell is going on with everyone else's clients, and they are going to suffer for it, at least for a couple months. My opinion: this is a steep price to pay for bureaucratic efficiency. Also, why does my job change every week? I seriously got three different emails last week about how I'm supposed to log my billing time. Basically I'm supposed to do different things for Medicaid, the state/DMHMRSAS, and Corporate compliance at the 'local' level. What the heck???
For Entertainment: I've been watching Black Books online from YouTube, but apparently they are not all up at this point, which is disappointing. I did get to see the Office from last week online though, which was pretty sweet. I won't add details in case you haven't yet. I've also been psyched to enjoy the warm weather. Yay spring!
Love: After an interesting conversation at "Red Palace Chinese Buffet", I am officially getting laid the least of anyone in my new work "team". (and if you don't know how little that is, you can probably guess.) My fortune cookie fittingly said "Pleasure is a gift you give yourself." You can't make this shit up.
And with that I will sign off, adding that you can CEE ME IN THE VILLE next weekend :D
looking forward to it.
Peace,
Meredith.
